Make shure you get your self a couple extra plates of chocolate then. As i have heard there are som posibilities that the Dec template will be delayed.
But i believe it will be worth the wait...
I'm on-site every 30 min untill release lol - or sleep is needed

- When/if Andy look sin here - how long does it take to the raw design, add the demo content, and set everything up on the site for it? Articles, downloads, forums, etc.

I'll wager 30 or 31 days normally. And 28 days in February (non leap year of course)

I should have phrased that better (ok, a LOT better); I meant how long does it take to put up the demo site, add the content, set everything else up, etc. after the initial design is complete.
Sorry about that, but your answer gave me a good laugh

More time than you would have realised
The demo for example has so many steps, its unbelievable - the installation, the setting up, the content, the laying out of content, the images. It is quite a long process as we have so much content such as the tutorials, it extends the setup time with rewriting them, creating new screenshots and making sure it is structured correctly to fit the new design.
Then there is forums which again, has many steps. Setting up the 3 boards, preparing the forum tutorials which is usually a 8 minimum count. All the announcement etc... release material is prepared then posted on release.
And lots more
