    • Go to Extensions -> Extensions -> Template Manager -> rt_mediamogul_j15 -> Parameters: Tab 1 Title, etc.

    • Hi Yves, found the place to make the changes but i get the following error message "The parameter file /templates/rt_mediamogul_j15/params.ini is unwritable! " - do i need to change the ftp parameters on this if so is that to 0777 or to something different?

    • Ah, this time it asked me for my ftp details and allowed me to make the changes - though still with the error message as above. do i need to do anything to make the file writable or is that just going to get me into trouble?

      Next question if it's OK... can I alter the background image beyond the options of grey or white given in the six style variations? In other words can i go into the css and import a background image? I looked at the css files and they are all listed as un-writable.

      thanks

    • As long as you can make the changes, don't worry about the params.ini (known problem with Joomla 1.5).

      To change the background color, you need to modify many images in source png and this css, for example in style1.css:

      body {
      color: #333;
      background: #434A4E;
      }

    • Hi sorry another question - on the homepage of my site the tab heading that shows up in the browser for this page is still 'Latests legocentric ... etc" from the template, despite this no longer being the heading of any of the input on this page. i'm afraid i'm unable to find any place where i can change this... can you help?

      thanks

    • Do you mean the title of the page like "Welcome to the Frontpage"?

    • Hmm - here's another question... (actually i'm afraid it turns out to be three)

      on the template homepage there are the three modules user 1 user 2 and user 3 each of which has a nice heading and the intro to a supposed article. i would like to use these places to lead people to my own articles... i can find the place in the module list for editing these but what i would like to do is to point these headers to existing articles within my list and i can't see any way to do this.

      which leads me to the other thing which puzzles me - when i am in an article and i want to make a link to another article i click on the 'link' button but the options it gives me are all for creating external links. is there any way here to get a drop down menu of articles within the site so that i can make internal links automatically to other article headings.

      and the third thing i would like to do to achieve greater integration is to get a menu list appearing in the right hand margin of all the articles contained in one or more sections, so that as someone reads one article they are drawn to see other articles that may be related, but without having to go backwards and forwards again through the pages.

      thanks for all your help this last week
