Hi all
Is it just me or has there been a lack of anything new in the last few templates... design-wise or feature-wise. I have always been very impressed by the quality of RocetThemes templates but I haven't really seen anything different or interesting for some time now.

I guess I have the opposite perspective. Although the many cool features and scripts are one of the things I value most about RocketTheme, often they are more than a customer wants or needs.
I find RT templates so feature rich that more often than not I'm removing features to satisfy a client. That's a very nice problem to have.
Providing us with another clean, professional design that would take us weeks to do ourselves (if we could do it at all) is more than enough for me. I don't need massive amounts of new eye-candy every month. The features are essentially plug-and-play anyway, i.e., plug this feature into that template, so I think there are plenty of features to choose from. - GNU/Open Source Internet Development: www.educationgrove.com

Here's my two cents: Put even more emphasis on modules/components/plug-ins that integrate well in RT themes. Case in point would be the upcoming phpbb stuff. I tried both of the current "latest posts" modules and they are ugly and don't work well. Too many programmers want to show off the database and don't see the needs of the viewer clearly enough. I think a real integration of a discussion board--not just the bridge and the matching template--is what I would like to see next.

- 35 pounds or however much it is now, is very low. We use about 3 of the 12 themes a year. We have had offers and quotes to redesign our sites, from either lesser designers looking to tag onto a charity by offering free work, or quotes of a thousand pound upwards to redesign our site.

Agreed, sir. We use to pay $50-100/per template in the DotnetNuke world...for table-laden templates that fail validation.
I think access to the forums here is world the price of admission alone.

I'll pipe in here to echo rliskey (welcome back btw... been ages since i've seen you here )
The eye-candy lovers had two months of joy with Replicant2 and Metamorph. Great that RT has come out with this one... which is the cleaner, more serious type suitable for small-biz, corporate, zine, real-estate sites etc.
What can I say; I love templates that are versatile like this one
