No, that is good. With 1.5 you can set up stuff how you like it then if you want you can change any menu item to something different without losing your settings.

This means you can set it up as Section (top) and 2nd and 3rd as categories...plus, you can set it up as hmmm maybe blog section for the top and blog section for the 2nd and 3rd. Then if you want to change anyone of them - after you get your content in there to see how they look you can.

    • Ok....experimentation is good. 'specially since I rarely do things right the first time.

      So here's a question. I just created a test site at www.usamericanet.com/test

It is using the split menu with the second tier elements showing in the lower menu bar. They are Features, Typography, Tutorials, J!Stuff, and Wrapper. They are 2nd tier elements to the Home top tier. Now, under the World menu, there are the continents as 2nd tier elements. But, when you click on World, the lower bar menu items do not change to continents....they stay as the 2nd tier elements of Home.

I don't see the relationship where those menu items carry through the entire site....but in the Demo from earlier, the World menu item activates a different set of 2nd tier options in that lower bar.

    • I am checking it out now...and believe me you learn this - you will be leaps and bounds at stepping over from newbie to not newbie.

Also, did you want me to go inside and set up somethings to show you - since it is a test site. Up to you on that one...then I can set up a real quick display in about oooh maybe 5 minutes lol compared to when it took me a week to get a menu working lol :P

    • Ummm Something is not right with the demo you have set up....go into it and try to add a menu. So, ummm it is not your imagination - the demo is dorked up. Could be a file is corrupted on upload.

But check out the menu items I did add - they are not showing properly in the front, but you can see Level 1,2,3 in admin under the mainmenu items.
