How do I uninstall Joomla version 1.0 that was installed by Rocketlauncher?

To completely uninstall it go to phpMyAdmin, and find the database you used for the install.
On the left hand side of the screen at the bottom, select 'Check All'.
At the top of the screen select 'Drop'.
This will empty the database.
Go to the Joomla folder and delete its contents.
That will start you off at zero.
You can reinstall Joomla 1.0 or 1.5. - Thanks,

Is the "joomla folder" all folders and files in /public_html/ ?

If that's where you had installed it, yes.
Be careful not to delete anything important!!
If you install directly to public_html, there may be some host related files, for example cgi-bin, etc.
Attached is a ss of the files created by a 1.5 install for reference. (installation renamed x_installation)
You can take a look at an uzipped folder with the 1.0 files and compare what's in the folder and what you're going to delete. - Thanks,

What about cPanel, Fantastico, Joomla, Remove ?
Even though it was a Rocketlauncher installation, would this be a safe way to remove it?
