DOCMan Problems - Please help...

I've been trying to get the DOCMan component to work on my site but for some reason it won't allow me to upload any files, I keep on getting an "Error uploading. - Directory problem-cannot move file" message every time i hit upload.
I've also tested this component on my local Joomla install and I don't get the error message but I don't get any files uploaded either.
I've checked the destination folders (/dm_documents) for both the local and remote versions and it appears that nothing has been uploaded at all. I've also checked the file permissions and file permissions are write enabled and so everything seems to be OK.
Has anyone else had this problem and found a fix for it?

I assume that you mean version 1.3? I have a similar problem. I could find a fix. This was three months ago. I'm just waiting for 1.4. and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting...
