apply and save buttons not working

I have tried uploading the mootools.js file as that fixed the issue during installation, but now it has returned, and the apply/save buttons in the administrator sections are not working. Any ideas?

If you haven't gotten too far, it may be easier to reinstall joomla and the template than it would be to troubleshoot this.
Chances are if you had trouble with the install and the file you mentioned, there may be others. - Thanks,

- Did that. Install went smooth. Same issue. These buttons work in other aspects of the admin, just not the article adding or editing

No error. I wish I had an error message, then I would know what was wrong.
There is no 'action' as if the buttons cannot be clicked. The cancel button works, though.

Have you tried a different url such as:
yoursite.com/administrator
www.yoursite.com/administrator - The member formerly known as Roland Deschain
