    Joomla - Scalability "Best Practices?"

Posted 16 years 5 months ago
    • Hello All,

We have been searching for Best Practices of larger Joomla deployments and there specific topologies.

In the next comming year we expect one of our portals to reach 1000-5000 concurrent users and are in the process
      of planning for that expansion.

However there is little recent information which helps us support our Theory so we assumed someone here may know.

Our plan would be as follows:

      1) MySQL Master and Slave (2 servers about 4gb+2gb mem - QuadCore)
      2) Loadbalancer for Web Front End (1 - sizing unknown)
      3) Frontend Web Servers (3 of them)

A great benchmark would be This Site - We would have similar activity and would be very interested to know
      what your infrastructure looks like

      Thank you for your help

      Kind Regards,
      Mark Leon
