Many w3 errors

    • Hello. Love the template "Hivemind" only thing is I went to great lengths to have a relatively error free site. Talking about www.w3.org Validator. I would be there but.... seems to have the ampersand "&" in the strings. also the "=" sign doesn't fly either. Testing: XHTML 1.0 Transitional

      ess.com/index.php?option=com_contact&view=contact&id=3&Itemid=10">Contact Us<
Warning Line 243, Column 101: reference not terminated by REFC delimiter.

      …com/index.php?option=com_contact&view=contact&id=3&Itemid=10">Contact Us</a>

these are just a couple of examples.
Is there a way this can be corrected? I know the ampersand is in contact&id stuff

    • Its just the & that is the issue, not =, i.e. & needs to be &amp; for it to validate.

    • Thanks James.
The code that seems to be giving the problems is generated isn't it?
Can I just go into php scripts and edit the ampersands to include amp; ? (semi colon as well right?)
Not real good with that stuff but will try it. Please let me know if that's what I should do.
      Thanks

    • Depends whats loading it, do you have a link? And yes, the semi-colon is required.

    • Did you manually create that module?

    • No. I enabled it in Global Configuration and edited the .htaccess (removed .txt)
So how do I rid myself of all those errors from w3.org?
