  • Suggestions for PRINT / book fonts?

    • Hi!

      This might be an unusual question in here, but I would like to know...........

      We're (self)publishing a book with a lot of material from one of our sites.

      We're using Mac / InDesign to setup the book, which we then email as pdf to the printshop.

      What font would you suggest we use so it looks like a book?

    • The choice is huge, there are so many fonts that can be used in a book.

      If you have these fonts, it could be: Baskerville, Bodoni, Frutiger, Futura, Garamond, Gill Sans, Helvetica, Stone, Meta Plus or Univers.

      I'm trying to setup an ebook and would like it to look as "real book-alike" as possible :)

      Thanks for your suggestions, Yves - I really like the Baskerville and Gilles sans fonts ! On the contrary - the Futura is not at all what I like ....... at first site, but it may "win" in the longer run? :oops:

      At the same time, I'm trying to learn InDesign so I'm setting it all up myself :)
