    • (I didn't know this until I just searched...)

      Create quick Joomla internal content links

      Creating links to your own content is not the easiest thing to do with Joomla. You have to find the article you want to link to, copy the address manually, then hit the Link button in the editor, and enter the URL to the content item. This is obviously less than user friendly. Well JCE comes to the rescue.

      With JCE linking to any existing content items within your site (including articles, sections, categories, weblinks ... ) is quick and easy. Click on the Link button, this brings up a window, which at the botton part, allows you to create links to existing content items. You just select Article, then use the drop down boxes to browse to the content item, and that's it. A shot of this being done is found below. Internal linking doesn't get any easier ...

      You can link to any of the following Joomla items:

      * Section
      * Category
      * Static Content
      * Weblink
      * Contact
    • When solved, please modify your original post and add (SOLVED) into the subject AND change your icon to the green check.  This helps people know they can find a solution in your post if they have the same problem.

    • OK, I already installed the JCE and changed my editor set to JCE in the Global config. do i also need to change my user manager/administrator setting to JCE or keep it in default Tiny MCE.

      Can you give a liitle bit more detailed steps, i'm getting confused now. The problem I'm having are follows:

      First I can't open my module in a Tiny MCE, or else the pictures and the text are going to get scramble in once I open the website, before it show no pictures on the bottom and I had to load the code back again.

      Second is I need to link this article (uncategorized or static) to the "MORE" The module that I am talking about is. "Uh-Oh" www.pinoymixradio.com , the one in the middle, it happened to me twice that if I open this module with Tiny MCE editor setting, it will break the code and will not show the pictures.

      Can anybody help me... I really need some advice. I should be able to open this module in Tiny or JCE and not No editor.

    • Turn off the code cleanup feature on your editors.

      For the default TinyMCE 2.0, Extensions, Plugin Manager > TinyMCE 2.0

      For JCE, JCE Administration > JCE Configuration
    • Thanks,
      jim
