Unsuccessful template installation

I have Joomla 1.5 successful installed on my server and the default template is working fine.
However, when I tried to upload the Chromatophore template, I got the following error message:
There was an error uploading this file to the server.
I've tried a couple of time with no luck,
I'm not sure what to do next.

There are a couple of things that could be wrong.
Most likely is that there is a permissions / ownership problem in your directory structure - this means that Joomla doesn't have sufficient permission to write the file to the server. This would also mean that things like your Media Manager won't work. To check this, go to your Administrator Control Panel - on the top menu, select Help >> System Info. If there's a lot of red, you've got your answer.
Otherwise, it could be that your version of PHP doesn't have gz support compiled into it. Most have zip support - some don't have either. Try unzipping from gz and rezipping as a zip and upload it again. - Ragdata's Rubber Duck

I looked in the System Info area - no red. I guess that is good.
Then I unzipped and rezipped and reuploaded the template.
Now I'm getting this error message:
Error! Could not find an XML setup file in the package.
Any more suggestions?
