    • JACL is what I've always used - although I'm not sure how his 1.5 native component stacks up (simply no experience with it yet). Roll on 1.6, eh?

JACLPlus is native and just want to make sure am choosing the right component that works with the list above.

JUGA seems to be the most friendly towards upgrades because it doesn't use any hacks. I'm not sure if JACL was rewritten since the last time I looked.

i was leaning more to JUGA, but comparing both JUGA an JACLPlus, there others that might do just right too, but rather take advise from you guys or someone else who may have an more understanding of an better ACL solution, thanks for your responses guys. anymore comments greatly appreciated.

    • Well from what I know J! 1.6 is based on jXtended. Do check it out. It was developed by Andrew Eddie and has been committed to the Joomla trunk a few days back.

    • I am technically 'off' these forums because of 'some' people having issues with me being here. But as you have directed a post to me it is kind of a compulsion on me to reply.

Honestly J! 1.6 is far too good and shall be here soon. Plus when it comes out it will be a default option so you shall not have issues using it.

Here is a great post I cam across which has a lot of great things about JACL ;)

      forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?p=1473643#p1473643

I have liked JUGA from my experiments. But still I doubt what happens to these a few months down the line when Andrew Eddie pushes his own into production. :)
