Hi, I am going to be doing a site for a friend with a small art gallery. Can anyone recommend a good template to display lots of images, which extensions would be good and also a simple way to do sales through the site?
New to Joomla but learning

Any template will work fine when displaying an art gallery. I've seen many made with Hivemind if that helps. You will need a gallery component such as morfeoshow or phoca gallery to display the pictures. And to sell pictures you could try Virtumart for singles or a AEC for subscriptions.
