Need help with Cateogry Assignments - Error page

Because of it's simplicity and the short time I have to get this up and running I'm using Firenzie template. I have one section/category that I would like to designate it's access level as special.
Since we're offering some type of country club members ship. I don't want to curious users who click on that section to see this annoying 403 error box. Is there a way to redirect the non-special members to another page or at very least, display a " You don't have access to this area" that is displayed within the joomla template.

click the PAID ACCESS TEST below the Country Club.
Please don't let this go unanswered.

When I click on that link I get a page that says 'TESTING MODE ...You will not be able to see this until you purchase a subscription... TESTING MODE '
Why use Special?
Special: Only users with author status or higher have access.
Why not use Registered, then the user will get a message to login? - Thanks,

I've removed it. I can't seem to get JoomSuite to actually restrict a category even though I set it restrict Country club.
Joomsuite support is non existent. The numbers listed on their site don't work and I can't get a response to any emails.
I desperately need help at this point.

I tried your suggestion by setting the category/article to registered and I still get this funky error page.
I'm sure I'm doing something wrong. Do you have any idea what?
