    • Is there any benefit to using phpBB3 with my rockettheme template for joomla over doing just a phpBB3 install and wrapping it?

      Can someone let me know why joining the phpBB3 club is worth $50 on top of my joomlaclub subscription? (I'm not dissing the club or anything, I honestly want to know)

    • If you want your forum to match your template exactly, it's the easiest way to go.

      $50.00 is worth it when you consider you options:

      A) Use the standard ProSilver theme, which probably wont look so good
      B) Try to adjust the colors to match you template, which still probably won't look so good because the menus and styling are different
      C) Look for a free template, same situation as B

      In the case of B & C, consider how long it will take and how much your time is worth. You may be an excellent coder and be able to do it in a few hours, or you may spend a week on the phpBB3 style forum searching and posting to tweak things the way you want.

      D) Join the club, install the template and be done inside of 30 minutes, and if you run into a problem, visit the phpBB3 support forums on this site which are up to par with RT forums.

      They are available after you join....

    • I'll more than likely be joining once the Akiraka Template makes its way over there. Your points are valid and well thought out.

      Is there any word on when the Akiraka template will make its way to the phpBB3 club?
