Need module issue explained

    • Hi,

If a particular theme has Showcase1, Showcase2, and Showcase3 all in a row on one level of a Template, does that mean that nothing else can go in there besides Showcase modules?

Or would I be able to have a User module either left, right, or both, and then a Showcase module in the middle of them?

      Thanks.

    • If that's the way the template is coded, then without recoding the index.php and adjusting the templete.css.css, the answer is no.

Posting in the forum for your template is the quickest way to resolve your issue.

    • It was a general question guys. I just saw it in Meridian and wondered if that was how it worked. Just trying to figure all the options for when I plan my new project.

Let me ask this, in reply to your mention of recoding those files. How difficult would it be to enable what I was asking, to allow one showcase module with two User modules on each side? Is this major surgery or 15 minutes of moving code around, or what?

      Thanks.

    • IMO, 'Major surgery', for someone that can quickly recode the index.php to do this, maybe 'minor surgery'.

You'd need to add Module positions to do what you want.

You can post in the Meridan forum and see if there's someone that can give you a hand.
