First I am new and I need some questions answered if possible, I currently run a site called http://www.forzadragracing.com and it is phpbb3. I want to use JOOMLA Templates and have phpbb linked to my forums but i need for joomla member log in to be linked to phpbb, is his possible? Second is i run a subsilver phpbb theme and it has a mod in it that works with this theme well, can /i switch themes to flow with joomla or do i have to keep current theme?

To sync users between Joomla and phpBB, you can use RokBridge.

Yes, you can switch the theme if you like to match the template.
You can visit the phpBB3 Styles club to see what currently available for matching RT and phpBB3 templates and styles.

Another question, is there a difference between the new joomla templates and the 08' versions?
Also is there a combined Joomla template with phpbb 3 ready for download already kind of like a package?

All the templates run the latest version of Joomla.
The difference?
Hmmm... well new features are added all the time as they are developed, so you just have to find one you like.
As far as a templates with phpBB3, no, you have to download phpBB3 and install it on your own.

Then you apply the phpBB3 Style from RT to your forum.

Im sorry, I should have mentioned that i know about phpbb 3 is free i was actually referring to styles . I use a bracket system that is based around the styles of subsilver and prosilver. So what i would like to know is if your stlyles are based around PRO or SUB? Thanks
