Hey,
I am truely trying to understand how to use and work on the templates I have but I am having a hell of a time figuring this damn Joomla, Rocket Theme, and virtueCart Template. Could someone or is someone willing to do a netmeeting or somthing where I can ask the questions and get anzwers.

Problem is that I want to change the images in the scroll panel as well as change the image in the upper display of the website.
It is not very difficult to edit the information on the site but it is hard to find the info you want to edit. I need to be able to find the info that I want to edit in a easier way I know that it has to be. - greeny

In your original thread on getting started, I posted these directions:

Basically, content is published two ways; as Articles, or Modules.
To see what is published where, you can look at the template positions in the template module-position screen shot from the demo.
And if you're confused about where something is on the front end when you are looking for it on the back end, add this ?tp=1 to the end of your URL to view the module positions.
E.g.: www.mysite.com/joomla/index.php?tp=1
So, if you can figure out if it's an Article or Module, that's half the battle.
Next, you want to login to the back end as admin.
For Articles, go to the Article Manager, all the Articles will be listed there, you can use the sort feature to narrow your search.
For Modules, go to the Module Manager, all the Modules will be listed there, you can use the sort feature to narrow your search.
If you know the position, for example, left, advert1, user1, you can sort that way.
If you know the type of module, for example, banner, login, you can sort that way.

I am really not liking the template or joomla in general. I have joomla, xampp, and the mynxx template installed on my local machine. I can get into the admin side just fine. I installed the mynxx template with the sample data so I could have something to work off of, you know so I could put this info in this spot and so on. I have been able to make changes to the virtuecart side of the template to update "some" products. I have been able to change my logo, but thats it. I can not find any other ways to start streamlining this template to be my own site. I can not even change the large laptop image on the front page.
Look I really need some serious help learning how to edit this template. I was once told that knowledge is power and that those with power hold the keys to the doors you want to go through. Well that statement has never been more true to me than in dealing with this damn Joomla and Mynxx template.
Maybe I started out to large with the Mynxx template, but I thought the purpose of the template was to let beginners start out larger than there actual knowledge base.
Please someone help me with this overwhelming issue? This is the first time I have felt useless when a computer app was invovled.

Look I really need some serious help learning how to edit this template.
The way content is organized in Joomla is controlled by the Joomla core and does not vary by template.
If you are having trouble understanding how to organize your content, you should take a look at the links provided in this thread under the heading Joomla Basics

If you are having problems organizing content in VirtueMart, I suggest looking at the documentation on the VM site or search or posting in their forum.

If you are having problems editing the template itself, I suggest posting your questions in the Mynxx forum and entering a proper title in the subject for each problem you have.

'Stuck on Template, I am starting to Hate Joomla' does not describe the problem you have now 'How do I change the image in the showcase position?', or 'How do I to change laptop image?'
BTW, to do so, you edit or replace the 'home-hero' image in the joomla/templates/rt_mynxx_j15/images/content folder....
