Request Rotator Img tag and Candy

My frustration level is up again. My users stomp the image comment tag for rotator every time they edit the articles because they can't see it. I tried to create a RokCandy tag but as another post says because they get resolved at the same time it doesn't work.
I'm begging for a code change to Candy and Rotator to allow Rotator use a internally codes Candy tag. The user could see the tag and hopefully it wouldn't get stomped. A tag to control the rotator test would be nice too just in case the intro is too long or not the right tease.
