    • It is not down, Andy has taken it out of comission for the time being and opened up an extension forum right here on RT. See also the announcements on the site here.

    • Ah OK thanks! Now if I could get someone who can fix my issue with RokBox and/or just make dreaded IE go away. :)

Does anyone else have issues with RokBox and PDFs in IE?

    • Thanks! It's been posted there for a few days now with no response. That's why I was looking to post at the RoxWerx forum also.

    • Hello, what has been posted where, can you provide a link, because I am confused at what you mean.

EDIT: I found it, but alas I don't have a solution, I'll ask somebody to look at it.

    • I posted the fix for the PDF/rokbox issue about a year ago on the rokwerx forums, it involoved having to deobfusticate (unobfusticate??) and add a line of code. Honestly, the exact fix escapes me, but I could have sworn I read that it was going to be included in one of the updates.

I really had no idea how to read or write java script, so it took me all weekend to fix the problem, I submitted the fix to the forums, but was rather reserved because I obviously deobfusticated the code to fix the issue. There is an example of the fix here: http://www.lifesforce.com - Click on any of the red links towards the bottom.

If I remember the issue correctly, there is a memory leak in IE7 (and probably 8.0) that keeps the iframe open after you close it. I think I had to set the source of the iframe to null or blank or something.

I guess I expected a pat on the back or something, but all I got was 5 or 6 spam emails a day from spammers who got my email from rokwerx forums.

      Meh, whatever.
