Programmatically change templates?

We would like to be able to show our members how easy it is to change templates in Joomla.
However, I am also smart enough to not want them in the administrator section.
Is there any way to programmatically allow users to switch between the installed templates on a website? (Yes, I know the layout will not look correct in a lot of them, but it is mainly to show off the "look and feel" of the different templates.
