Just wondering...
With J1.6 coming and using Mootools 1.2 how will this effect RT Templates?
Just curious, am sure you guys are all over this.

... a lot of work for RT to do (probably already working on converting j-scripts to Moo1.2)!
Perhaps they wont support 1.6 from the start and jump on it until they now its save.
1.6 seems to be "ante portas" ... is there a release day ...?

No Idea on a release date, I've just been a bit curious since some components (well OK 1) fabrik lets you choose between 1.1 and 1.2. It got me thinking about the RT templates....
So I guess either Andy has a magical converter stashed somewhere or James won't be getting much sleep!

I think the preparations for the js scripts are all done, Djamil only recently posted the javascripts that need conversion for joomla 1.6, so that magical converter may have been at work already

- there will be 5 or 2 more distributions left before j1.6 is alive. its now on j1.5.10, how i determined this was. i was looking at the old j1.0 distribution before it got to j1.0.15 stable(mature) and was looking back at previous version before the last. and saw that there will be 5 more distribution perhaps 2, once it reaches j1.5.15 by the next j1.5 aniversary. or birthday i should say j1.6 will be released if not couple weeks after its birthday.

looks like eleven more weeks before they release j.5.12 then 44 more weeks an j.16 will be released. i am on top of there days when they release an distribution. and keep track and watchin the stats. to what i can conclude, but who knows things may change they might just want till christmas. lol

heres another breaker for you guys last year september 2nd through sept 8 joomla had turned 3yrs old,then on that same day released joomla 1.5.7, i say this year we definately will see j1.6 in 44 weeks. from now. or on joomla 4 year birthday. jus keeping you guys posted.
