need template suggestion for a membership site

Hi All, I am planning on creating a website that will give out free video tutorials but will also have option to purchase a membership for a few months to get more content, sort of like this site here. What would be a good template for this, I like the functionality of Mynxx with e-commerce and virtumart but I need a way to manage users as well for when their subscription ends to automatically shut down access and send emails and stuff.
btw, I am a complete noob in this in which I stumbled into this site last year but I have not done much with it since then.

As far as the templates here go - you're dealing mainly with style, with a few bonus extensions. In order to do what you want - you will have to go beyond rockettheme. You could custom code some things, but you don't have to. You may have to put some additional money into it if you are not a coder (as I am not...).
The best place for you to start is extensions.joomla.org . This site is the main site for all joomla extensions. You can find "add ons" there that will help both with the paid subscription and membership management. I would start by looking at Community Builder, and then search for "membership subscription" extensions...
