No template except on the front page - any help?

I have installed a couple templates and they show up great on the front page of the site. When I click any of the other links it goes to a page without any template at all. This goes for even the basic templates that come with Joomla.

Turn off SEF and see if the site displays properly.
If so, before you enable it again, make sure it's configured properly.
Basic Core SEF:
If joomla is in the root; htdocs, or public_html...
In Global Configurations, Search Engine Friendly URLs Yes, Use Apache mod_rewrite Yes, Add suffix to URLs No.
Change htaccess.txt to .htaccess.
If it’s in a folder, you need to change the # RewriteBase / to reflect the path of your site.
Change:
# RewriteBase /
to:
RewriteBase /(the name of the folder joomla is in)
If that doesn't work, search or post here:
