    Connection problem to RocketTheme.com

Posted 15 years 11 months ago
    • This is not a template issue, but a connectivity issue. I can't connect to RocketTheme.com from one of my IP's. I have multiple static IP's on my network. Starting two days ago, I can't connect to RT from one of those IP's. DNS servers are the same...and tracert, nslookup etc all give the same results...
Would RT block an IP...and if yes... for what reason?
sorry to ask this here... but I didn't see anywhere else to ask.

Yes, it's some kind of anti-hammering script i think for added security. It will ban an IP if there are too many connections or if you type in your password wrongly a couple of times.

This should be on Andy's "table" so to speak, he will need to remove the ban manually. I'll send him a message but i need your IP so can you PM me that? :)

    • Thanks guys... I will use the contact-us form. Thinking about it, and it could be the "It will ban an IP if there are too many connections or if you type in your password wrongly a couple of times."...and I know who/why that would be.
A few years ago I asked whether there were plans to implement a user list that the owner of the subscription could manage. The purpose would be to give my developers access to the forums, without giving them access to my profile/subscription area. The subscriber (me) would also be able to turn that access off if the developer were no longer with them. Any closer on that??? or did it happen and I didn't see it?
