- Looking to build a site with a wood background and a wanted sign nailed to it. I'm thinking of starting with colormatic, what do you guys think? Is there another template that is already closer to that of what i'm needing to do?

Yeah i looked at that one, but I need the entire background to be wood. Site needs to look like a wanted posted nailed on a fence or boards or something. Like an old western.

- Why not just find a wood texture and put it behind something like Refraction, you'll get a great effect.

Because the client wants something like a wanted posted. Damn Texans! (I'm one lol) I thought about that. And i've got the background already - just trying to figure out the best way to get that look of a wanted posted with ragged edges and stuff.

I think I found free Photoshop tutorials online that I followed to create the torn edges & scratched & burnt effects.
If you would like the Photoshop files just PM me. You're welcome to use them.

I think i've got it nailed down - now im just working on getting the flash logo to work, and getting the menus ready.

When you get it all together can you post a link to it here?
We'd love to see what you have come up with. I was looking at the background image for the Refraction template that Andy suggested & thought that would work great with what you are doing.
Now I am considering the Refraction template for another project I need to start on soon. It doesn't have a western/wanted poster theme but a kart racing theme.
