I have a site that a client wants to have a top horizontal menu, but he wants many buttons that require a template that will wrap to a second line of buttons for the top menu bar.
I've tried a couple, but the layout gets messed up when it wraps to a second line of buttons.
Do you have a template you can suggest that will accomodate this need?
Most of the time when someone thinks they need tons of menu links, they really just haven't done much for content organization. I've worked on several sites where the client had mapped out a couple dozen links they swore they would need and had to be in the main menu...then after actually getting the site set up, it turned into about 6 or 7 and then submenu items for those. In the end, content was better organized and users were happier.
Is it possible to use a "split menu" for this and have submenu items? Like this RocketTheme site, when you click on "Home" there is a whole list of submenu items and that's true for all the other main menu items. There are a lot of templates with this option available.
Of course I don't know you exact needs so this solution might not work...just brainstorming. Also, be very careful about the site working in all browsers if menu items wrap around, this might look alright in some and break the template in others.
