I wanted to download some themes, but all I see it .tgz???
How do I download with .zip
Can anyone help me install?

Hi Anita.
You download and then import the templates within Joomla. It doesn't matter if they are in zip or tgz style.
If you need to extract these on your local computer then use some of the free tools here:
www.freedownloadscenter.com/Best/free-unzip-tgz.html (some are free
)

Logg in to the Adminstrator panel and click on "Installers" and then "Templates Site"

Browse to you downloaded file and press "Upload file and install"

You have to make your installed template as the default one by going to "Site" and then Template Manager:
