    Pro Clipart: What's everyone using?

Posted 18 years 4 months ago
    • Hi all,

I'm coming to the end of my usability rope and need to purchase some additional, generalized clipart. I am looking for pro quality graphics and images (objects, people) to use in print and web design.

      All input is greatly appreciated,

They've got a good bit of clipart in their presenter products if you're willing to "pony up the bucks" - I'm afraid to tally up how much I've invested in them :O. Anyhow, thanks Donna for the links - dreamstime looks interesting :D .

    • We also own Bridge but find that the images for sale on Bridge are typically wayyyyy over priced.

    • I use and recommend http://www.fotolia.com/partner/165300 the extra great thing is on all their images they offer freedownload of what they term "comp" images ::A comp image is an image used for layout and composition purposes. We intentionally decreased the size and quality of the comp image. Do not use the image for final production. The image may only be used for draft and layout work.::

Great for setting up client sites or templates or a portfolio. They also have a great affiliate deal. I actually provide the links to my clients of recommended photos for their websites ...they buy them and I earn a commision + their site looks that much better for the effort which just makes teams job easier too.

And for a dollar an image when you consider the price for a small hand full of PRO images to boost the look of your or clients site its really a tiny outlay!
