Re: No SMF Bridge for Joomla 1.5: Orstio's SMF Official Bridge to be discontinued?

Prediction:
Joomla 1.5 will have integration for most of the popular PHP stand-alones that are on the market now. Some folks will be bought out for their 'bridge', others will develop partnerships with Joomla!
Many security concerns will be addressed and the business community will take a second look at Open Source - particularly Joomla!
Already, many of the stand-alones see Joomla! as being the best platform for which to develop. I believe that Joomla! will create and enjoy the largest activity in the Open Source community (particularly with medium to small business). Joomla 1.5 will kickoff a surge felt around the world.
If Joomla! offered stock, I'd buy. They will offer the emerging markets of the world a clear alternative to the MS solution. If cards are played right, Joomla! could become a household word among the developing world, emerging markets and beyond.
No other Open Source CMS is able to offer what Joomla! does freely. Non-coders and barely-coders will flock to Joomla! because of the 'ease-of-use' and the power that just a little knowledge can reveal. Joomla! allows a freedom of creativity that the world will fall in love with.
Manage the Content & Experience the power of Joomla!

Drat! The secret is out!
Actually, just a little observing of trends. I get paid to do that, among other things. I have read the posts on the SMF website, but I do feel that things are going to work out. Maybe I'm too optimistic. We'll see.
