I would like to know if anyone can help me with an odd request. I would like to put a blue stripe down both sides of my main body. Like on this site, up on both sides of the header, there is an about 3px wide white space. And if you followed those down to the footer there is an equal white space. I've looked through the css file, and can't find any 'border: #px solid #######' that seems to address that white border. Can anyone help me with figuring where to put that in?
Thanks alot,
Ellie

Perhaps you should mention what template you are talking about and then post it in the specifik template forum.
Also a screenshot with some arrows could make it more understandable.
The CSS is different in all the templates, so a name is def. needed.
I've looked into that very thing before myself. I believe it's just a matter of Andy's personal preference, but he doesn't use a white border down the sides of the mainbody. Instead, he has a white wrapper, and then the header, for instance, is about 10px smaller than the mainbody in width, leaving about 5px of "white border" on either side.
In your case modifying the background color of the mainbody may or may not work, depending on what template you are using. If you try changing the color, you may end up having blue right down the middle as well where all of the text is sitting. Play around with it I guess
Sorry Thomas. I didn't post in the V2 forum as it seems that a lot of the templates have that thin "border" around the header and footer. I should, indeed, have included a screen shot and more details.
And Philip, it seems to be just as you said. Thanks for the thought. I played around with the backgrounds behind image files and found that this:
changing the #ffffff to #000066, seemed to do the trick.
It does give me that darker delineation that I was looking for, but it is about 2px shy of being perfect..lol. I will keep messing around to see what I can over-obsess about in the name of 2px.
Thanks for the suggestion, it put me in the right frame of mind to go looking.
