    • When we designed our site Chromatophore, we enabled the Color Chooser on the front end and picked colors/overlays for each season of the year. Then we disabled Color Chooser. I have a text file that includes the codes for each season in this format:
      Custom:overlay-hills,#2f5c24,#e3e6cf,#99ad6d,#2f3d19,#821509,#e3d2cf
In the backend, in the Chromatophore template, the first parameter is Style Variation. I simply copy the seasonal code from the text file here and apply the change. I need to create a second site that will use the same color/overlay combinations as our primary site. Are there any other templates featuring the Color Chooser that is found in Chromatophore? Thank You.

    • Chromataphore is the only template with that particular Color Chooser.

Akiraka and Meridian also have Color Choosers, but that are controlled from the back end only.

    • Thank you for the response. The color chooser made it real easy for me to change the color and overlay on the back end. Do you have any idea why it only appeared in Chromatophore?

    • You can see that Chromataphore has a very 'square' look compared to the other templates.

In order to style the template properly for the Color Chooser to work the graphic design was limited, no fancy images, no rounded corners, etc.

Because of that, it wouldn't be possible to implement in other templates, and using in other templates would create something very similar in design.

The other template I mentioned have an 'advanced version' of the Color Chooser, you may want to take a look at them.

    • Can the chooser be disabled? When I change the default colors, users will continue to see cached settings defined in their local cookie.
