    • You'll have to upgrade each one individually.

    • 1.5.14 just came out.

How do you update your files? Via ftp? Do you extract it then upload? That may take some time..

Try uploading the compressed file to your directory and then extract it while it is in there. Saves a lot of time.

      Yes, very quick and easy!

I usually create a folder with the current version number, in this case, 1.5.13, then copy the content of my Joomla directory there.

After that, I create a new directory, e.g., upgrade 1.5.14, extract the files there and then copy them to the Joomla directory.

After that, I test the upgrade.

If there are any problems, I can revert to the previous release.
    • Thanks,

    • Smart FTP is a very good FTP client, but it is a very slow process of uploading Joomla files by FTP. You're talking about 45 minutes just for one site, compared to a couple of minutes with your Cpanel/file manager. Just remember to upload the zip, don't unzip it on your computer.then once it's in your directory, select it, and then just click extract.

    • Your CP is part of your hosting package, not part of Joomla or the templates.
