HELP Menu links all go 404 error and cant register

hi just a few questions. all my menue links just go to blank pages. not sure why. also my roklogin goes to a blank page when i try to register. all other links on page work tho. and when i enable navmenue my site goes down.

oh ya my rocbridge is showing my posts and stuff in my phpbb3 forums but again when i try to login on my joomla i get a white 404 again

Hello,
In your admin, go to Global Configuration and turn off SEF urls, then re-check.
To set up sef urls, you need to rename htacces.txt to .htaccess using your ftp client or cpanel in your webhost. I use my ftp client to make my changes.

Have you configured SEF properly, does the problem persist when you disable SEF?
Basic Core SEF:
If joomla is in the root; htdocs, or public_html...
In Global Configurations, Search Engine Friendly URLs Yes, Use Apache mod_rewrite Yes, Add suffix to URLs No.
Change htaccess.txt to .htaccess.
If it’s in a folder, you need to change the # RewriteBase / to reflect the path of your site.
Change:
# RewriteBase /
to:
RewriteBase /(the name of the folder joomla is in)
If that doesn't work, search or post here:
forum.joomla.org/viewforum.php?f=544

ty for fast respose, ill check right now oh is there a reason why it takes like 10 minutes for the effects to show up when i do a admin change. i have a fast pc and server
i am on a linux server unlimited from godaddy and my ht access was already renamed for some reason. tyty so much ill check out everything again tho ty

- thanks alot guys. that did solve my registrations probs except that it doesnt show if your logged on or not and can you fix that or not. I have another question when you have time. I run 2 monitors a 32 and a 46 inch. why does this template get cun in half on certain resolutions and is there a way i can fix that. its a very bad deal if someone comes in for the first time and can only see the left side of the site haha. thank you again for your fast responces, you guys are great.
