Attaching images - making it look right

Posted 15 years 9 months ago
    • I run a board that is very image intensive. Lots of big images in exess of 2k pixels wide.

When I upload an image and "place inline" it keeps getting cut off along the right side. Clicking on it yields the same thing.

However, if I just upload the image and DO NOT place inline, it looks fine (scales to within the window width) and when I click on the image, it opens up the original size. Only annoying thing is it opens it in the same window and not a new window (can't figure out how to do that).

      Question #1:
What can I do to fix the "place inline" problem?

      Question #2:
How do I get the image to open in a new window?

See the images below for an example.

    • Holy sh***... this is the first time I ever posted an image here in these forums. I noticed when I clicked on the "attached" image, it opened it up in a fancy new window with controls and all. What mod is that and how can I add that to my forums???

      THanks!

    • hi ed,

is this a joomla or a phpbb3 question? what template are you using?

the popup window that opens to show the attachments in these forums is done with rokbox.
