RokNewsRotator Text Loses Intentisty

Wow here is something I bet you guys haven't seen before,

As news items on my RokNewsRotator start rotating, stating with the second news item, the font on both the heading and story lose about %50 of intensity ... looks really weird.
The problem only happens on IE8 and not on Firefox.

just checked your site and all articles in the rotator look fine to me in ie8, see screenshot.
could you attach a screenshot too?

Thanks for your help Kat.
So we have 3 computers in the office. On the two running vista this problem is definately there and on the one running XP this problem is not there (IE8). I have attached the screenshots. The "good" one is the first article of the RokNewsRotator and the "bad" one is the first article after RokNewsRotator completes one full rotation (loop).
Good: See how the intensity of the story text is full

hi again,
weird, i am on vista too and in ie8 (normal view) it looks fine.
if i check ie8 compatibility view, then i can see your problem.
can you also check the versatility demo site if you see the same issue there?
it might be a problem with ie itself and how it renders the font.

So I clicked on compatibility view settings on my IE8 and was surprised to see my root there (life2o.com)
I deleted it and now everything workds?! I don't know how my site could have gotten added there much less gotten added with 2 computers at work! So I guess that solves the problem?

hi again,
it is actually an issue with ie and how it renders certain scripts.
if you see it in the demo site, then there wasn't anything that the developers could do to make it look better at that point in that particular browser.
let's all hope that ir is getting better at some point...
