    • Retired, but build and run websites for organisations of school leaders and others - e.g. http://www.icponline.org, http://www.aspa.asn.au, http://www.appa.asn.au

    • How to change the width of Joomla depends on which template you are using. For some templates, you can change it in the Template manager screen. For the very recent ones, you will have to change the coding of the template. I suggest that you ask for help in the forum for the template that you are using. In fact, if you do a search in the template forum, you will probably find the answer there already.

For changing the width of the PHPBB forums, you could also ask for help in the appropriate forums. The experts in PHPBB probably will see your request for help more quickly there.

from the experience point of view is it a good idea to have the style full width in home page or it is better to do not have it full to page?

Actually I wasn't had any access to the forums because my membership was expired ... I will ask over there.

      Thanks

    • I agree with Jem. Renew your membership. :)

In answer to your question about the width, it depends on a number of things; for example is the position of any pictures and/or graphics critical in your articles? If so, then you probably need to have a set width for the site. Some of my sites are fixed width, and some are full width; there is no simple answer to that question.
