Menus in Legacy mode

Hi,
I seem to be having trouble with these fancy menus within rockettheme templates whislt running Joomla in legacy mode. Can someone clarify why this is happening? is it simply because the menus do not work in Legacy?

Please post this question in the forum for the template you are using along with a link to your site.
I've just switched the last three templates to Legacy and the menus seem to work.
Also note what extensions you have installed which require Legacy mode, there may be some type of script conflict. - Thanks,

Ah ok, I am customising the site locally unfortunately. I tried it on a number of templates, therefore I thought I would post it here. Ill try switching template to legacy and see how it goes. Otherwise I am guessing there is a conflict like you have mentioned.
