    Entitlements: last word???

    • Considering the multitude and repeated clarifications about entitlements, I wish to attempt to pin down a final definition complete with examples. This is my clarification

The essence of entitlement is if you intend to make the template accessible to your intended audience on a live site then that is one entitlement used.

1 entitlement = 1 template on 1 active/live site; active/live site is meant to be seen by an audience beyond the development team; unlimited templates may be experimented on for development site(s); development sites will be erased when active/live site is launched).

      For example:

      2 entitlements

      mynxx template on www.domainA.com
      meridian template on www.domainB.com
nexus, affinity, meridian, mynxx, akiraka, mixxmag, templates on beta.domainC.com

      OR

      mynxx template on www.domainA.com
      mynxx template on www.domainB.com
nexus, affinity, meridian, mynxx, akiraka, mixxmag, templates on beta.domainC.com

      OR

      mynxx template on sub1.domainA.com
      meridian template on sub2.domainA.com
nexus, affinity, meridian, mynxx, akiraka, mixxmag, templates on beta.domainC.com

      OR

      mynxx template on sub1.domainA.com
      mynxx template on sub2.domainA.com
nexus, affinity, meridian, mynxx, akiraka, mixxmag, templates on beta.domainC.com

      OR

mynxx and meridian template on www.domainA.com
nexus, affinity, meridian, mynxx, akiraka, mixxmag, templates on beta.domainC.com

Once domainC.com goes live with a rockettheme template you'll need a 3rd entitlement.

Templates may be download as often as one wants and can during the duration of membership.

    • That is a change from what I know. So, did you make that up or are you asking or is that how it is?

Cause, honestly - you confused me. :P

Good thing I am a developer :P ...used to be you could have as many templates as you want on one domain. Also, I can probably show you Andy's original answer 2 years ago on this forum stating that I can do that...

That is why I laughed at other template clubs that followed the same structure of entitlements as stated above, but I understand why you do it. Your product has always improved and is the standard of excellence, leader of the pact or what ever you want to call it.

So, I am not complaining, just noting and thank full I am a developer with unlimited.

Hmmm ... apparently I missed www.rockettheme.com/help/entitlements when I was about to suggest that a special help page on the topic be made. Sorry for confusing you Wingman. Thanks for the replies. Enough said.
