  • Best Practice Set Up ? New to RT, need minor help

    • Hi Im new to RT but have a lot of experience with Joomla/JFusion/Phpbb.

      I have installed the Affinity template in a subfolder for now deanhowarth.com/test
      and have installed phpbb in another subfolder deanhowarth,com/forum

      I have since relasied that Rockbridge prefers the install to be in the root ie/test/forum :(

      So in this case I decided to use my known bridge JFusion in a frameless mode but get this error.

      Fatal error: Cannot redeclare rok_isie() (previously declared in /home/deanhowa/public_html/forum/cache/tpl_affinity_.........rokbb3.php.php:3) in /home/deanhowa/public_html/test/templates/rt_affinity_j15/rt_utils.php on line 129

      I basically want my forum to look and feel like my site with single user sign on. This is only a test site at this stage so Im happy to take on any best practices recommendations

    • If it's the error caused by the JFusion, I would highly recommend you to ask that error in their forum. If you want to start using RokBridge, you can read this thread and if you have problem with it, you can post in our phpBB3 forum

    • Thanks I checked with JFusion and they suggest the issue is with ROKBB ?


      It is an issue with a RT extension, RokBB. Kindly consult the RT forums for more help. Has nothing to do with JFusion.

      P.S: RokBB is of no use if you use the JFusion Frameless mode

      Any thoughts ?

      I'm asking because I got the same issue with the same software (Joomla/phpBB3) and the same theme :| . Any help is appreciated!
