  • PhpBB template pre-sale Question

    • Hi,
      I haven't found a forum for this so I post the question here.

      I may be interested in osme time, to setup a phpBB3 forum for a project.

      - I would like to know if the menu bar at the left of the phpBB themes can be removed and placed somewhere else... to gain horizontal space just for the threads and posts.

      - Can any PhpBB theme be integrated with any RT website menu bar ? (I think i've seen this in Affinity demo... ) or does it have to be 2 identical themes ? (ie, one template for main site and the adapted look for php BB). I have read that RT provides a plugin or some kind of extension for this. I don't know yet which template i would choose, the project is not for before a couple of monthes.

      - Can profiles on phpBB be the Community Builder profiles ? (integration)

      That is actually quit easy, but requires a littlebit of knowledge of html. There are several examples available on how to do that in the phpbb3 forum.

      Best way is two identical themes, but you can always mix different themes.
      The plugin you are talking about is the roknavmenu exporter probably.

      Yes, but this is done through a hack that is available in the rokbridge forum, requirement is that joomla and phpbb3 are then in the same database.
