I have no problem changing out a RT template graphic from any of the templates that I have tried, fyi.
So, what happens when you try and change the logo on Sporticus? At what point do things go awry?
I'll help you until you get it done and understand how to do it again.
Just to recap:- create new logo (easiest is to name it the same as the original template logo, but not necessary to do so - this also assumes that the dimensions of the image are equal to the original logos size)
- upload new logo to the correct folder on your server - ex: yourwebspace/templates/rt_sporticus/images - either overwriting the old file or rename the old file if you want it for some reason.
- open browser, empty cache, go to site, voila done.

Hi I'm not sure if I am following correctly - But if this is an upload issue just install Joomla Explorer and overwrite the existing logo.png file this way. If your FTP is not letting you do this. If this in not what your asking then sorry...

Hi all, thanks for jumping into help but I wrote support and they told me to add the component JoomlXplorer,
This solved all my permission problems I have been logo-ing away! It is so amazing how this was happening on these templates but I am a happy camper now!
I am putting the answer here just in case anyone ever has this problem also.
