Hi
I have two webs, one for clients and another for professionals, so I have (´cos I need) a HTML Splash Page named index.html inside professional main/root directory which links you to www.clientsite.com or www.professionalsite/index.php
Many people doesn´t recommend a Splash Page, and to me the best thing would be integrate that Splash Page inside joomla.
What I want to do is to have a joomla homepage without menu, so the homepage would be just an article or module, that in fact will look as Splash Page. Then I could easily publish modules or articles in Front Page as Splash Page. So:
1.- Do you think it´s better option a "Joomla Splash Page" than HTML Splash Page?
2.- How can I create a homepage without menu? (of course all pages must have menu except homepage)

Assign the 'splash page' to the copy and unpublish or hide the menu on that page. - Thanks,
