    • This might be a really stupid question but...

      I have a database of hotels and it includes load of information about the hotels including URLs to images. I want to display this as content on a joomal/rocket theme site.

      For example a map page where you click the marker on the map and this takes you to a page where you can view the hotel selected by hotel_ID number

      I can do this in php and html outside of joomla but how do I do it within Joomla?

      Do I build myself a component? And if so is there a learners guide to building a component in Joonla 1.5?
