This may have already been suggested or implemented in some way but might I suggest for each template in addition to the "Solved" category that an "Unsolved" prefix or category be created. There are many posts and issues that simply go ignored... or at best, unresolved. I'm sure that this can be frustrating for many posters.
I'm think we can agree that some don't do their homework... meaning search and research... but for the vast majority who do and still get nothing... this might be a way to call attention to those "orphan" problems that nobody wants to touch, tackle, or otherwise deal with. And it might inspire those who enjoy the challenges to focus in on the opportunities to "solve" issues... or at the very least, let those posters know that somebody in fact cares even if no solution is yet discovered.
Any thoughts?

If it's not solved, it remains on the board until it is (or isn't depending on the content), so that would be a bit redundant an perhaps confusing.
If you are having trouble getting a topic solved...
Consider first if it is actually RT template related and withing the terms of the TOS.
And second, be sure you follow the Top Tips for Support, post in the proper forum, etc.
