    Help with a Theme - Begging For Suggestions

    Posted 18 years 3 months ago
    • I have not had much luck posting my problems/questions in the Carbonation forum so I thought I would try here. I am sincerely hoping someone can help me out since I have paid for the use of these themes and I cannot resolve this problem.

      The problem is with the background color, which I need to change to white. In the carbonation forum there was a thread on how to do this and someone attached a new set of png files in a zip fil. I am using these files but I have this strange band of the original off-white showing up on many pages

      I downloaded the all_white.zip file and changed the background: #f7f7f7; to background: #ffffff; in template.css.css but still have a band of off-white at the top of the main body. it also shows up in a few other pages and often looks different from one browser to the next? Does anyone know what else I need to change/fix to get everything set to white on all main body pages or modules?

      Below is a sample module with the code which, as you can see on the home page, has a band of off-white?

      <p>

    • Try changing this one to #ffffff

      div.modulebox-white {

      background: #f7f7f7 url(../images/white/box_r.png) 100% 0 repeat-y;

    • THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! You save the day. Gee, maybe I can push my luck and ask one more question. With the carbonite template, for some reason indented text gets shaded and places this ugly qoutation mark at the begining of the text? You can see what I mean here www.openenterprise.ca/content/view/47/66/

      Any idea as to how I can get this to simply indent the text without the shading and huge quotation mark?

    • Ok, I should have checked further and used some common sense before asking the last question. I simply removed the block quote formating options in the template.css.css and that did it.

      Thanks again for the help
