Retrospectively install sample data

Hi,
I had some issues after installing RT using rocket launcher, my database connections would drop after 10 mins and then would come back 10 mins later. Anyway, I created a Joomla install using the godaddy installer, and then installed the template and extensions.
My question is: Can I just install sample data retrospectively by importing the sample data sql?
I noticed there are some other sql files in the installation directory, would I need to import these also?

if you get into your phpMyAdmin you can import the sample data.sql in the installation directory after dropping all the tables in the DB.

Thanks, so do I need the other sql files in the installation directory also?
Do i need to edit the sql files to comment 'create database blahblahblah' ?

- drop all the files in the current database and import the sample_data.sql then you will be good to go.
