Best way to add a CSS file?

Say I want to add another style sheet to a RT template that is dedicated to styling my content and overriding template CSS. For upgrades, template changes ECT, I won't have to dig through to find changes, I can just re-assign my CSS file.
I'm still learning the RT template structures so a point in the right direction would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hey Cliff,
You can add something like this between your head tags or inside your rt_head_includes.php file.
<?php $this->addStylesheet($this->baseurl."/templates/".$this->template."/css/custom.css"); ?>
