CSS instead of a table

At the moment I got some photos inserted into the table on my homepage. Is it possible to arrange them in a similar way using just CSS? If it is not too difficult, or not too much of a fiddly job, could someone explain how I go about doing it please?

You can easily create a RokBox album to replicate what you have here. I would do four smaller image thumbnails and let them open in a larger, more detailed RokBox. The option of course is yours.
